TTG Highslide Gallery and TTG Highslide Gallery Pro have now been updated to versions 1.51. This update adds optional support for using Form-to-Email Remote instead of the regular Form-to-Email PHP script. This should open up the gallery for use on servers not supporting PHP — on .Mac accounts, for example — for those who register for a free or pro account with the Form-to-Email Remote service.
I have also made some user interface changes in this release. Under the Color Palette pane, the Highslide Options have been reorganized. Options for the three Highslide modes — Slideshow, Proofing and Inline Slideshow — have now been grouped according to Highslide Mode. Prior, it was difficult to know which controls were relevent to which mode(s), as they were all mixed together. With the controls now separated into groups, it’s much clearer which controls to use according to the selected Highslide Mode. Some of the controls are redundant, however, as I have duplicated some items to place them into multiple groups. For example, changing the Caption Text Color in Slideshow mode will also change that setting in Proofing and Inline Slideshow modes; there are Caption Text Color controls in each group, but they are tied together.
Finally, I’ve swashed some bugs.
Not in this update, but by way of transmitting news, I am now working on writing a PDF manual for TTG Highslide Gallery and TTG Highslide Gallery Pro. I realize the engine can at first seem daunting to new users; I’m hoping this will help to make things easier.
- v1.51 (2009-08-27)
- Form-to-Email Remote support.
- UI changes.
- CSS improvements and fixes.

Thanks for your work and efforts to make the manuals.
Is there a limit on downloads for this gallery? I’d hate to not update for fear that I’d use up my downloads in the first month or so of buying this gallery–in other words penalized for buying the gallery early while it’s still maturing with frequent updates.
Thanks,
Reid
@Reid
E-Junkie requires that I set a download limit. Currently, the limit is nine downloads or one year, whichever comes first. However, that is a recent change and not retroactive in the system. If you purchased earlier than this revision to terms and hit a five download ceiling before one year is up, I will renew your subscription for you.
I am hoping that updates to this particular gallery will slow down now. I think it has reached a fairly solid point, and I do have other products that need attention. When the manual comes out, it will be available as a separate free download so that users will not need to spend their limited downloads just to get the manual. I do not expect a corresponding update to the gallery with the manual release.
Thanks!
One thing that would be helpful in the manual would be screen shots with arrows showing what items are changed by difference color palettes. I know I’ve spend a bit of time trying to figure them out.
Another thing I thought of is allowing people to upload templates for others to download for your galleries with difference color schemes using tools like those found at http://colorschemedesigner.com/

Hi, Please can you add some more info on getting the form-to-email remote working.
Cheers
Elliot
TTG Highslide Gallery and TTG Highslide Gallery Pro make it easy to implement Form-to-Email Remote. First, visit http://formtoemailremote.com to setup your account.
In Lightroom’s web module, locate the Form-to-Email Remote options under the Appearance pane.
Enable the checkbox “Enable Form-to-Email Remote”. From your Form-to-Email Remote account, locate your User ID and Form ID. These will be clearly labeled on the site. Enter these values into the provided input fields in Lightroom.
That is all.
Great addition to LR galleries. I needed something the lets my client review images side by side. All of the other options I discovered were part of other pay service online proofing sites attached to labs to do the fulfillment. This is an ideal solution for any photographer do online proofing. I look forward to your future updates. I am open to providing any input that will help in that process.
